Sperm Boosting Bananas

Research has shown that male fertility and semen production has declined to half the the normal output of men 50 years ago. About six percent of males between fifteen to fifty suffer from reduced fertility. The decline in sperm can be attributed to exposure to PCBs, DDT, dioxin, pesticides, plastics, and industrial pollutants.

Vitamins and Bananas

Men need a wide variety of vitamins and minerals in order to maintain a strong sexual vitality. Nutrients such as vitamin C and minerals such as zinc keep sperm healthy and separate from one another, which allows them to each have an individual chance at getting a woman pregnant. Sperm that become bunched together are less effective.

Bananas are rich in nutrients needed for healthy sperm count. The vitamin B1, including A, C and even magnesium are found in bananas and play an active role in the production of sperm.

Hormone regulators such as the B vitamin and Bromelain help regulate sexual desire and virility.

In order to properly take advantage of the sperm increasing power of bananas, they need to be eaten on a regular basis. This is because one time effects from consuming bananas are limited; it’s the overall change to the production of vital minerals, vitamins and hormones that will make the big long-term changes in overall sperm production.

As a result, the best thing to do is try to add bananas to your regular diet. This can be done in a wide variety of different ways. They can be baked into pies, added to salad, turned into shakes, and so on.

Banana Studies

A recent study in Kuala Lumpur, has found greater evidence that consuming bananas every three days can improve male fertility The “Sin Chew Daily” has reported that the magnesium level in bananas elevates sperm production in the human body.

These various studies, since they all seem to agree, point to bananas being a powerful aid to sperm production and in turn, increased male fertility.

Infertility is a surprisingly common problem among men. But fortunately, there are many different approaches to increasing sperm count, with bananas being just one of the foods that help with this problem. Similar foods with magnesium such as nuts, potatoes, cashews and spaghetti can do the trick just as well.
